This proposal is for a complete upgrade of the current Luganville Hospital that will not only modernise the facilities that the sick and infirm attend but also to extend the facilities to be an integrated medical training facility that will offer world standard educational certification and degrees to all Pacific nations.
There will be a program of establishing Medical clinics throughout the Islands of the South Pacific.
– Depending on the community size these may or not be permanently staffed, but in communities where there is no permanent health worker, someone in the community will be trained in first aid and have access to the clinic.
We will work with major hospitals and universities worldwide to provide opportunities for doctors and nurses to spend 2 weeks up to a year somewhere in the Pacific region providing health care and training a local in first aid and in preventative health care and health practices.
